Baccarat is a card-game with rules that may seem complex at a glance, but are actually very straightforward. The game is played with 8 decks of cards and involves three possible outcomes; that the player, the banker, or it will be a tie.
Each player is dealt two cards face-down and the banker also receives two cards face-down. The goal of the game is to get as close as possible to a total of 9. The point values of the cards are; 10-Kings are worth 0, aces are worth 1 while the 2-9 cards are worth their face value. When a hand-total is over 10, then 10 is subtracted from it.
Both the banker and the players must hit draw on a total of 5 or less. A third card may also be drawn in certain scenarios. Whether the banker or player draws depends on which value they are aiming for.
