Blackjack is a card game played between one or more players and a dealer. The goal of the game is for the players to achieve a better hand than the dealer without their total hand value going over or exceeding 21 points. Ten-valued cards, king, queen, and jack, in your hand are worth 10 points, aces can be used as either 1 or 11 points and all the rest of the cards are worth their face value.
At the start of the game, the players put down their bet. The dealer then gives each player and himself two face-up cards. After analyzing the combination of cards, each player can decide to either āHitā to get another card, āStandā to stick to their cards, āDouble Down,ā to double their original bet or āSplitā their cards if they have a pair. When all the players have made their moves, the dealer will draw until 17 or higher.
The winner is the one with the highest points, but in the case of a tie with the dealer, the hand is declared a āpush,ā where no one wins, and the players can either keep their bet or take the bet back.
