Punto Banco is a very straightforward card game. The rules are simple and it relies on the players strategy and luck in order to win.
Dealing of the Cards
The dealer will distribute two cards face up to the Banker and Player hands. Cards are scored according to their numeric value with face cards counting as zero. Ace cards typically determines the value lifted to the lowest multiple of 10, if the total of the two cards reaches over ten the first number is disregarded.
Third Card Draw
Third Card Draw is used to decide if further card are drawn on one or both hands. Banker or the player can stand (accept the initial two cards) or draw (a third card is required).
Misdeal
In the Punto Banco game, a misdeal occurs if the dealer does not shuffle the cards properly or an incorrect number of cards are dealt to the table. This results in the cards being placed back in the shoe and a new deal begins.
