Punto Banco is a popular table game among players, originated in Italy and spread across the world. It is a card game very similar to baccarat, that has the same objectives. In Punto Banco, the goal is the same as in baccarat; the players must reach a hand value as close to nine as possible.
The player, also called Punto, and the banker, Banco, are each given two cards. In Punto Banco there is no skill applied. The player does not ever draw cards, instead the dealer draws according to a set of rules which dictate when the player must draw a third card.
