The rules of three card poker are fairly straightforward. The game is typically divided into two parts: the ante and the play.
During the ante, which is the first part of the game, each player must place their bet and the dealer starts the game by dealing three face-down cards to each player. After the cards are dealt, each player must look at his or her cards and decide whether to fold or raise their bet.
If a player decides to fold, they lose their bet. If the player raises their bet, then they must place a bet equal to their ante, and the dealer will then deal out two additional cards to each player.
From there, players can either fold again or raise their bet. If the player folds again, they lose their bet, while if they raise, then they must place an additional bet equal to their ante and the dealer will then reveal the three communal cards.
At this point, the best hand will win, although the amount a player must pay out depends on the strength of their hand, the number of players sharing the pot and the game's betting limit.
