Three Card Poker is a fast-paced card game similar to traditional poker but with only three cards dealt for players and the dealer. The game is generally played in a single table format with seven places around it, although many multi-table versions exist in both live and online versions. The goal of Three Card Poker is to make a better hand than the dealer using any combination of the cards that have been dealt. Players are not competing against each other; instead, they are solely competing against the house.
Unlike other poker games, Three Card Poker does not offer betting or raising, but instead involves a system of bonuses and payouts. For example, in the most popular version of the game, players are paid out according to a bonus paytable for achieving specific hands, such as a Straight Flush, Three-of-a-Kind, Flush, Straight, and High Card. Additionally, players may bet an Ante bonus side bet or a Pair Plus side bet depending on which version of the game is being played.
