Three Card Poker is a relatively simple game to learn and play. Before the dealer deals the cards, each player must make an Ante wager, and may make the optional Pair Plus side bet. The dealer will them deal the cards, face down, to each player and themselves.
Once the cards are dealt, the players can either fold (surrendering their ante bet) and forfeit the Pair Plus bet, or raise by making an equal amount to the ante. If the player chooses to fold, they lose all wagers. If the player chooses to raise, then the dealer reveals their cards and proceeds to play out the rest of the game, depending on the strength of the players three card hand.
If the dealer’s hand is a high card Queen or lower, then the dealer will not qualify and your Ante bet will be paid at even money. If the dealer’s hand is higher than the Queen, then the dealer qualifies and will play against each of the players individually, beginning with the furthest player to the dealer’s left.
If your hand beats the dealer then you will be paid even money for your ante bet and an even money bonus for your raise. If the dealer beats your hand, then you will lose your bet. The Pair Plus bonus will be paid if your three card hand contains a pair or better.
