Mahjong, also called Majiang, is an ancient and popular Chinese tile game. It is most commonly played by four players in traditional tile sets, though its variants can be played in various numbers of players. The goal of the game is to be the first player to construct a legal Mahjong hand using all 13 tiles in the set. Each player takes turns drawing and discarding tiles in order to create the winning hand. Mahjong in Chile is popular both as a recreational activity and as a competitive sport.
