Play Sic Bo Online -Top 23 Highest Paying Online Casinos 2020

Online Sic Bo is so simple that you can easily learn the rules in minutes, just by watching a game in play. You can bet on many outcomes as the three dice hit the table. You have to decide how the roll is going to turn out.

Three dice are placed inside a bowl and covered with a lid, then mechanically shaken. The players have time to put their bets on in many different options; low or high, pairs or triples, specific totals, and so on. After removing the lid, the winning bets get paid.

The table's layout shows the payout for each different bet that can be placed. Each casino pays different odds, so you'd better check them out before placing your bets. Beware of bets like high and low, which lose with every triple, and the centre numbers, which have very low odds.

How to Play Sic Bo

Players must place their chips on the table areas which depict the kind of bet they want to make. After all the bets are made, the dealer shakes three dice in a chest. Then, players will either win or lose, depending on if their predictions turned to be true or false. The online version is no different, except that (of course), instead of a dealer, players will get their results delivered by a software Random Number Generator (RNG). Unless they're playing live Sic Bo, in which case a human dealer will do the job of rolling the dice to his remote, online audience of players.

The game logic is straightforward, being very similar to roulette; in both games, the players put their bets on the table and wait for the dealer (or the software, for online non-live versions) to deliver a pure chance result. The differences are, logically, in the physics of the game (i.e. ball and wheel vs dice) and the type of bets presented on the table, which are very different. Even so, as in roulette, Sic Bo players can either go for conservative, low-risk and low-pay bets, or for high-rollers, with minimal chances but higher payouts. Each player will decide according to his profile, his budget or his feeling.

Sic Bo Rules

These are the main bets a player can make at Sic Bo. If a player bets that the dice sum will be between (and including) 4 and 10, it's a small bet; if the bet is between 11 and 17, it's a big bet. Triples result in a loss. A bet on a specific number given by the dice sum, between 4 and 17. This means the player is betting that a given number will appear at least once among the three dice. Betting in a double or a triple. A domino-like bet, on two specific numbers.

These were just the general bets and rules; most of them have several different combinations, each with specific odds, and so, particular payouts too. For instance, in sums bets, the odds are different whether the player thinks of a 4 or a 17 (which have few combinations possible, and so minimum odds, and a massive payout of 60 to 1) or if he thinks of an intermediate sum. Between 9 and 12, there are more possible combinations, and so the payout is reduced to 6 to 1, although way more significant than the 1 to 1 of the 50% odd bets.

Sic Bo Basic Strategy

Sic Bo is undoubtedly a game of pure chance. This means that no strategy can assure a more significant probability of winning. However, there are some smart ideas which any player can put into practice to manage his budget the best way possible. Players can put several bets at once, with some online casinos allowing up to 16. However, without knowing the odds of each one of the bets, that can result in bigger losses. The idea that if something occurs more frequently now, will happen less later is false. In a 100% random game, the player can't be sure.

The best strategy is to define a player profile, according to the available budget and the will to spend, and bet accordingly. There are three big player profiles. Small and big bets are the ideal choice, with higher odds, although with a low payout too (1 to 1). Place multiple bets with four different chances of winning on each spin. If the player is experienced, has a large budget and is willing to take risks, he should look to multiples wins per roll. For example, betting on 8 and on double 1, 2 and 3.

Sic Bo Online for Free

Most online casinos allow newcomers to play Sic Bo for free. Instead of being forced to bet real money before fully understanding the dynamics of the game, players can try out and learn the rules by practising without risk. The player will quickly feel more comfortable and willing to bet real money.

Sic Bo may look a little complicated at first sight, as the table option appears to be more difficult than it is. But those who remember playing roulette for the first time, also realise that it took a few plays before getting it right. Playing for free allows rookies to learn it easily and quickly.

Play Sic Bo with Real Money

While playing Sic Bo with real money, players should not disregard the usual common sense rules regarding a safe and responsible game. The most important is the budget: to set up a budget for losses and never spend more than what was previously planned.

If the player needs to spend more than what was planned according to the budget, it means it is the right time to walk away. Playing more is never a guarantee of recovering any losses. This also means that the gambler should always play when 100% lucid, avoiding betting and drinking simultaneously.

History of Sic Bo

The origins of Sic Bo are quite remote, although it is known that the Chinese played games of chance with painted stones and earlier forms of dice two millennia ago. The modern version of the game was brought to the United States by Chinese immigrants in the 19th century.

Sic Bo arrived firstly to casinos in Macao, in the 1960s. Soon, their Las Vegas counterparts echoed the success the game was enjoying in the Far-East and added it to their offerings, with a boom in the 1990s. After becoming a success, Sic Bo was eventually adopted by the growing online casino industry.
