Mahjong is a board game which combines skill, strategy, and calculation with a degree of chance. Originating in China, Mahjong has become a popular game across the world. In Hungary, it is the birthplace of one of the many variants, known as Hungarian Mahjong. Hungarian Mahjong is a variation of the game with distinct rules different from Classical Chinese Mahjong. Players must build a legal hand from the tiles they have been dealt. The game is normally played with four players, although some variations may be played with three or even two players.
