Punto Banco, known as Baccarat, is a popular card game in Taiwan, played with eight decks. This casino card game is simple to play and is enjoyed by many gambling enthusiasts in Taiwanese casinos.
The goal of the game is to make a hand that is worth nine points, called a natural, and be closer to nine than your opponent. The dealer deals two face-down cards to each player, and the higher hand wins the round. In some casinos, additional face-down cards are dealt and used for betting purposes.
