Baccarat is a straightforward game that is easy to learn and relatively fast to play. It is played with a standard fifty-two card deck, where each card has its own assigned point value. To win the game, the player must achieve a hand that has a total score that is closest to nine points. All of the cards in baccarat are worth their set point value with the exception of aces, which are worth one point, and the tens, jacks, queens, and kings cards, which are all worth zero points. The maximum amount of points a player can get is nine.
Players can make two types of bets: the Player bet or the Banker bet. Before any cards are dealt, players must decide which bet they would like to make. When the game begins, two cards are dealt to the banker and the player, face-up. After the cards are dealt, the playerās hands are compared to the bankerās hand. The one with the hand closest to nine points wins the game.
