Blackjack, also known as twenty-one, is a popular card game between a dealer and one or more players. The goal of the game is to reach 21 points, without exceeding this amount. Players often start competing against each other and against the dealer. In this competition, the highest hand yet not an exceeding 21 will always win.
As with other card games, the basis of blackjack lies in the symbols used in each card. All cards from two to ten correspond to their numerical value. The face cards, usually depicted as King, Queen, and Jack, are counted as 10 points, with the exception of the Ace, which can count as 1 or 11 – the player’s decision.
