Players can make a variety of wagers in craps. The most basic wagers are the “Pass Line” and “Don’t Pass Line” bets, which can be placed before the dice are rolled. In a “Pass Line” bet, the shooter wins if they make their point. In a “Don’t Pass Line” bet, the shooter loses if they make their point. Other types of wagers are called “single-roll bets,” where payouts are based upon a single roll of the dice. Examples of single-roll bets include the “ Any Craps,” “Any 7,” “Any 11,” and “Any 12” bets.
Players may also choose to make “multi-roll” wagers, where payouts are based upon the outcome of several dice rolls. Examples of multi-roll wagers include “Hardways” bets, where the bettor wins if a certain combination is rolled on the two dice. Other examples include “Fields” bets, which pay out on any roll, and “Big 6” bets, which pay out if the shooter rolls a total of 6 on their next roll.
