The basic rules of craps remain the same in Japan, regardless of where the game is played. The shooter (player) throws two dice down the length of the table and the players place their bets on the table. The shooter is the only one who throws the dice and must hit the walls of the table for the roll to count.
The three main bets in craps are the Pass Line, Donāt Pass Line, and Come/Donāt Come bets. In Pass Line betting, players place their bet on the Pass Line area of the table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 then the Pass Line bet wins. If the shooter rolls a 2,3 or 12 then the Pass Line bet loses.
The Don't Pass Line bet is essentially the opposite of the Pass Line bet. If the shooter rolls a 2,3 or 12 then the Don't Pass Line bet wins, if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 then the Don't Pass Line bet loses.
In Come/Donāt Come betting, the players bet either for the shooter or against the shooter rolling a certain number before a 7 is thrown.
