Mahjong is an ancient Chinese game played with tiles. It is a classic game with many variations, and has become a popular game in Europe and the United States. It is also known as Mah Jongg, Ma Jong, and Mahjongg. Players use tiles to make sets of matching tiles, or chows, and to score points.
The object of the game is to collect the most points by making sets of tiles. Sets of tiles are either Pungs (triples) or Kongs (four of a kind). Pungs are important because they are worth more points than a single tile. Players take turns drawing and discarding tiles, while trying to collect sets of the same type.
