Pai Gow, also known as Chinese Gweeppo or Chinese Domino, is a traditional Chinese tile-based game that can be played with a pai gow set, which consists of 32 dominoes, each divided into two halves. The two halves are independent from one another and have individually marked faces. The names pai gow and gweeppo are derived from the Cantonese pronunciations of Chinese characters, both of which mean āmake nineā.
Pai gow is not just a game of chance, as players can use strategies and skills to increase their chances of winning. The object of pai gow is to create two hands that will outrank two hands created by the banker. The players are ranked against the banker and not each other.
