Pai Gow is a Chinese domino game adapted for the western gambling market. It is a variation of ancient Chinese game called 'Gai Gow', which means 'making nine'. The game combines elements of a traditional poker game with the luck of the draw offered by dominoes. In Pai Gow, players are dealt seven tiles from a set of Chinese dominoes. The aim of the game is for the players to arrange their tiles in two hands, consisting of one hand of five tiles and another consisting of two tiles, which beat the banker’s two hands. The hands are ranked according to the standard poker hand rankings, with the exception of a "Gong" and a "Wong".
