Pai Gow is a Chinese domino game that is becoming popular among Slovakian players. The game originated in the 19th century and is still played today. The goal of the game is to beat the banker's hand. The player is dealt 7 tiles and must divide them into two hands- the front and the back. The front has two tiles and the back has five. The front hand has to rank higher than the back hand. At the end, both hands are compared to the banker's. If both your hands beat the bankers, you win. If you lose one and win the other, you tie with the banker.
The game is easy to learn but requires a good strategy to win. The tiles are shuffled and all players get 7 tiles. The dealer usually also gets 7 tiles, but in some cases, he or she might only get 4. Before the game starts, the joker is defined and becomes either the highest or lowest tile in the set. It can also be used as a wild card.
