Punto Banco is a card comparing game with two sides, the punto (player) and the banco (banker). To start a round, the player and the banker are each dealt two cards. Depending on their totals, additional cards may be drawn for each side. The winning side is the one whose total is closest to nine, unless it goes over that. Both sides may draw an additional card if they score less than five. If either side gets an eight or nine on the first two cards, they have whatās known as a ānatural winā and the game ends.
The banker is always favored to win, and pays out at odds of 1:1 if successful. The player is more of a long shot to win, paying out at 1:1 and also with bonuses depending on the combination of the playerās two cards. In the event of a tie, the game is even.
