In every variant of roulette, the bets come in two categories, inside and outside bets. The inside bets offer the biggest payouts but the smallest chances of winning, while the outside bets have smaller rewards but much bigger chances to hit your bet.
The inside bets include bets on a single number, split bet, and street bet. The single number bet is a bet placed on one number, and if you land on it, you win 35/1. If you choose the split bet, you will bet on two adjacent numbers and if you land on either, you are paid 17/1. The street bet is when you place a bet on three numbers, and if you hit, you get paid 11/1.
The outside bets come with much bigger chances for the bet to hit, and much smaller payouts. The common outside bets in roulette are coloured bet (red/black), odd/even, high/low. The red/black bet gives you the possibility to bet on either red or black pocket, and if you land on that, you are paid 1x your stake. Betting on odd/even numbers gives you a payout of 1/1, and if you bet on high/low, you get the same 1/1 payout.
