Using the traditional Texas Holdem rules, the game is played with the following stages: Pre-Flop, Flop, Turn, River and Showdown.
At the start of the game players can either ‘check’, ‘bet’ or ‘fold’. After the pre-flop is complete, three community cards are placed on the table in the flop. Each player can ‘check’, ‘bet’, ‘raise’, or ‘fold’ following the flop. On the following round, turn, the fourth card is added to the table. Players will then be able to ‘check’, ‘bet’, ‘raise’, or ‘fold’. On the river is the fifth and final card placed on the table. Players will be able to ‘check’, ‘bet’, ‘raise’, ‘all-in’, or ‘fold’. After all five cards have been placed on the table the showdown begins. All players have the option to show their hand (reveal their cards) or ‘muck’ (discard their cards). The player with the best five card poker hand wins the pot.
