Games

Betvictor offers different types of games to attract players with various tastes in gambling. Once you create an account and make your first deposit you can start enjoying one of the many games Betvictor has to offer.

The good news here is that you can play the games in fun mode first, which is a great way to learn how the game works or to practice the rules.

Baccarat

Baccarat is one of those games that attract a huge audience because of its simplicity. You can find a huge range of games at Betvictor to choose from. But we suggest you learn the rules of the game before you start playing for real money.

There is only one thing you can do when you play Baccarat, place your bet. You see, once you place your bet and receive your cards, the dealer will follow a pre-set rules for both your hand and the banker`s hand.

So it is probably obvious now, what kind of bets you can place. You can either bet on the Player's hand or the Banker’s hand. There is a third option, a bet on a tie, but we suggest you avoid this bet because the chances of winning here are way too small.

This bet might seem attractive to you because it offers the highest payout, but unless you are on a lucky streak you should stay away from it. Statistically speaking, the banker`s bet will win more often than any other bet, so if you want a slow and steady game, you should stick to this bet.

Once you receive your cards, the points are calculated and the value of each hand is determined. The cards have slightly different values in this game, aces are counted at 1, 10s and face cards are counted as zero, and cards from 2 through 9 have their value.

If the value of your hand is a two-digit number, then the first digit is removed and the second digit shows the value of your hand.

If the two cards that you receive are of a total value of 8 or 9, then this is called a natural win and whoever has this hand is a winner, and the round ends here. If no one is a natural winner, then the game continues.

You might need an additional card to improve your hand. The rules for the player are quite clear here. If you have a hand that totals between 0 and 5, you will receive another card, and if your hand totals 6 or more, you will stand.

When it comes to the banker, this is where things get more complicated. If you don’t have to draw a third card, the rules for the banker are the same. They will draw a third card on a hand that totals between 0 and 5, and they will stand if their hand totals between 6 and 7.

But, if you receive a third card, then the rules for the banker become more complicated. The good news is that you don’t have to know these rules since the banker will finish its hand on their own. But if you want to know what is happening in front of you read the following rules:

If you draw a 9, 10, face-card, or Ace as a third card, then the banker will stand on a score between 4 and 7, and they will draw a third card on a score between 0 and 3.

If you draw an 8 as a third card, then the banker will stand on a score between 3 and 7, and they will draw a third card on a score between 0 and 2.

If you draw a 6 or 7 as a third card, then the banker will stand on a score of 7, and they will draw a third card on a score between 0 and 6.

If you draw a 4 or 5 as a third card, then the banker will stand on a score of 6 or 7, and they will draw a third card on a score between 0 and 5.

If you draw a 2 or 3 as a third card, then the banker will stand on a score of 5, 6, or 7, and they will draw a third card on a score between 0 and 4.

If the player and the banker have the same points, the game results in a tie. In this case, the bets on the player and the banker are returned and only bets on a tie will be paid out.

Poker

One of the easiest poker variants is the Three Card Poker. It is a simpler, faster variation of the game, and if you are looking for a game that doesn't take hours to finish then this is the one for you.

The game can be played with two people only, you and the dealer. You will start the game by placing an ante wager. Once the wager has been made, both you and the dealer will receive 3 cards face down.

When you see your cards, you have to decide whether you are going to place a wager equal to the Ante wager or fold and end the round.

If you decide to match the ante and wager, then both you and the dealer show your cards and there are several different outcomes at this stage, and here are the best three-card poker hands:

  • A straight flush is when you have three cards of the same suit in sequence.
  • Three of a kind is when you have three cards of the same rank.
  • Straight is a hand when you have any three cards in a sequence.
  • Flush is when you have any three cards from the same suit.
  • Pair is when you have two cards of the same rank.
  • A high card is when your highest single card is of any value.

Texas Hold`Em Poker

Texas Hold`Em Poker is probably one of the most popular variants of poker. This is the game that you will probably play if you join a tournament and this is the game that is featured in many different films.

The game aims to get as many chips as possible. You can do that in two ways, by having the strongest hand or by bluffing your way until the end of the game.

Bluffing is what makes this game more challenging and we have to admit this is an art that not everyone is good at. Each player receives two cards and the betting starts with the first player sitting to the left of the dealer.

If you believe that your hand is worth playing you can check, which means you are not betting, but you still stay in the game. Other options include ‘calling’ which means you are matching the bet.

And if you feel confident with the hand you are having you can raise the bet and every other player has to place the same amount. If you believe that you have a bad hand, you can fold and finish the round.

Here are the winning poker hands ranked in strength order:

  • Royal Flush is the strongest hand that consists of the following cards A, K, Q, J, and 10 all in the same suit.
  • Straight Flush is a hand that consists of five cards, all of the same suit in a sequence.
  • Four of a Kind is a hand that consists of four cards of the same rank.
  • Full House is a hand that consists of three of a kind and one pair.
  • Flush is a hand that consists of five cards of the same suit.
  • Straight is a hand that consists of five cards in a sequence but not in the same suit.
  • Three of a Kind is a hand that consists of three cards in the same rank.
  • Two Pair is a hand that consists of two different pairs.
  • Pair is a hand that consists of one pair only.
  • A high Card is a hand where only the high card is of any value.

Blackjack

Blackjack is a very popular game that you can find once you join Betvictor. The game dates back to the 1600s and little has changed over the years. To have a successful game session you need to go over the basic rules of the game.

This is an easy game to learn, so even if you are a beginner you will have no trouble learning it. The objective of the game is to beat the dealer by getting a hand closer to 21.

You don't play against the other players on the table, which makes the game way easier and less complex. Sometimes that is what you need in an online game, play a couple of rounds without having to stress over rules.

As we said before, the game aims to have a hand that is closer to 21. To win the game, you have to have a hand that is higher than the dealers without going over 21.

The cards have slightly different values in this game. So, Aces can be worth both 1 or 11, cards from 2 through 10 have their face value, and face cards are valued at 10.

Once you place your bet, you will receive two cards, so will the dealer. If the two cards you receive are a 10 valued card and an ace, this is a ‘natural blackjack’ and you are the winner of the hand. The same goes for the dealer. If no one has a natural blackjack then the game continues.

There are a couple of things you can do to improve your hand. If you are happy with the hand you have, you can stand and you won't receive any additional cards. If you believe that another card will improve the hand value you can hit, and receive an additional card.

If the two cards you received initially are of the same value, you can split your hand and play it as two separate hands.

You will have to place another bet equal to your initial bet, and for each hand, you will receive another card. You then play the first hand, and when you finish playing it you move to the next hand.

If you are not happy with the cards you received initially, you can fold them. If you fold, you will lose your bet.

Double Down is another move that doubles your bet and you will receive only one additional card.

When the dealer`s face-up card is worth either 10 or an Ace, you can place a side bet that the dealer has a Blackjack. If it does, you will win the side bet but lose your original bet.

When you are done playing your hand, it is the dealer`s turn to play. The only options available for the dealer are to hit and to stand.

The dealer has to follow pre-set rules even though they have a hand that will bring them a win. They always have to hit on a hand that is 16 or less, and they must stand on 17 or more.

When the dealer is done playing their hand, both hands are compared and the winner receives the payout.

Blackjack Variants

Blackjack is a very popular game, so it comes as no surprise that it has a lot of different variants of the same. The good thing here is that once you learn the basic rules of the game you can play any variant out there.

  • Classic blackjack is the earliest form of Blackjack, and we have to say that not much has changed from the moment the game was first invented.

  • European Blackjack follows the same rules as the classic version of the game but here only two decks of cards are used.

  • Spanish 21 is a very interesting variation of Blackjack. What makes this game stand out in the crowd is the fact that the 10 valued cards are removed from the deck so the game is played with fewer cards. Late surrender and insurance are an available option here, which is another plus.

Atlantic City Blackjack is a version of blackjack where you are allowed to re-split your hand up to three times.

Common Terms in Blackjack

It is a good idea to learn the common terms of the game before you decide to play. So we will go through some of the most used ones that will help you know your game:

  4. Bankroll – this is the sum of money you have available to play with.
  5. Bet Spread – this is the minimum bet to maximum bet ratio.
  6. Betting Spot – this is the area on the table that is designated for a player to place their bet.

  14. Hit – this is an act of getting another card hoping to improve the value of your hand.
  15. Hole Card – this is the face-down card in the dealer’s hand.
  16. Insurance – this is a side bet that can be played when the dealer is showing an Ace or a 10 card.

Roulette

Roulette is another game that stood the test of time. The game dates back to the 18th century when it was created by chance by Blaise Pascal.

This is a great game for beginners because it offers simple gameplay for newbies and at the same time it offers complex gameplay for players who like more of a challenge. Such diversity attracts many players and it can entertain for hours.

The game aims to predict the number the white ball will land into. There are several ways to do this, and it all depends on the type of bet you want to place.

There are many different bets available in roulette but they are divided into two large groups:

  • Inside Bets
  • Outside Bets

Inside bets are placed on specific numbers and a small group of numbers. These bets offer better payouts but the chances of predicting these bets are way smaller.

Outside bets, on the other hand, offer almost 50-50 chances of winning, but the payouts are way smaller.

How to Play Roulette

Once you distinguish the types of bets you can place when you play roulette you can start betting.

The gameplay is very straightforward, and the only thing you have to do is to place the chips on the number, or group of numbers you want to bet on.

You can place different bets at the same time if you can`t decide on only one. This way it is possible to both win and lose in a single round.

When you hear the dealer saying ‘no more bets’, the ball will be dropped onto the wheel, and no more wagers can be placed. Once the ball has settled, if you have predicted the winning number right you will receive your payout.

One very important thing that you need to understand if you want to play roulette is the chances you have of winning. If you are just starting, then we advise you to start with the outside bets.

The chances of winning these bets are way higher, so you won't lose your balance very fast this way. This will give you the opportunity to learn the game and maintain your balance at the same time.

Roulette Variants

There are different variants of Roulette, but there are three main variants that are considered classic and they are European, French, and American roulette.

  • European roulette is considered one of the most popular versions of the game. There are 37 pockets, with numbers from 1 through 36 and a single zero. If you are a beginner, this is the version we would suggest you play. European roulette offers a lower house edge, so the chances of winning this game are better.

  • American roulette is another popular version of the game, which is played in the same way. The only difference here is an additional double zero that makes the house edge even higher. So, if you want to play a more challenging game then this is the one for you.

  • French Roulette is probably the best version of the game because it offers the lowest house edge of all. In this variation, you will receive half of the even money bets if the ball lands on 0.
