Craps is a dice game, historically descended from the English game of Hazard. In Craps, the players take turns to roll the dice. On the first roll, the player is known as the ‘shooter’. The shooter needs to roll a combination of the dice to determine the outcome of the game. The dice then pass to the next player and the cycle continues.
The shooter must first a roll a different combination number to win the first ‘Come Out Roll’. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on the come-out, the shooter wins. If the outcome is a 2, 3, or 12 - also known as 'Craps' - the shooter loses. If the shooter rolls any other number, they establish the ‘Point’. The shooter then continues rolling the dice until they either match the Point again or roll a 7. If they match the Point, they win; if they roll a 7, they lose.
