Pai Gow is a Chinese dominoes-style gaming card game popular in gambling parlors across Ireland. Players are dealt seven cards that they must divide into two hands -- five cards and two cards -- which will be compared to the corresponding hands of the dealer. It is essentially a two-hand poker game where with both the player and the dealer attempting to get the higher poker hand. Pai Gow is also considered by some to be a game of luck; however, many experienced players believe that skill also comes into play.
