Pai Gow is an exciting Chinese gambling game played with a set of tiles. It is played in several casinos and cardrooms around the world. The national game of China, it is played with a 32-piece set of dominoes or tiles. The game dates all the way back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279), making it one of the oldest gambling games still played today.
In the game, each player is dealt four tiles which are then separated into two pairs: a high and a low hand. The goal is to create two poker hands using the four tiles, one that is higher in value than the Dealer’s hands. If both Dealer and player have the same hands, it’s a tie, and no one wins.
