Three Card Poker (often referred to as Poker3) is an exciting variation of the classic poker game. It was created by poker professionals its popularity has grown rapidly, and it is now one of the most popular casino games in India. The game is simple and easy to learn, making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced poker players.
In Three Card Poker, players compete against the dealer instead of each other. The goal is to form the best possible three-card poker hand. The game begins with each player placing an Ante wager and optionally a Pair Plus wager. Players and the dealer are then dealt three cards each, face-down. Players then decide to either fold or stay in the game by making a Play bet equal to their Ante bet.
If the player has made a Play bet, the dealer then flips their three cards face up for everyone to see. To qualify, the dealer must hold a Queen or higher; otherwise, the player automatically wins the round. If the dealer does qualify, the hands are compared. If the dealer’s hand is better than the player’s, the player loses both wagers (Ante and Play); if the hands are equal, the player pushes (ties) only the Play wager; and if the player’s hand is better than the dealer’s, the player wins both wagers.
