Following the accreditation, the software developer joins several international Tier 1 online casino, sportsbooks, bingo, and lottery companies in operation centers in Gibraltar, a European iGaming hub.

The Gibraltar license allows Bragg Gaming to sign deals with many regulated online casino operators in the British overseas territory. This iGaming market is home to major players like Entain, 888, William Hill, bet365, and Lottoland.

According to the software developer, the latest license is part of the broader plan to expand its services in regulated international markets. The company is also confident that the Gibraltar certification will widen the appeal of its fast-expanding product lineup.

Bragg Gaming already has operating licenses in many regulated markets worldwide. Last year, the company received the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario license to launch its services in Ontario, Canada. The developer also has accreditations in four jurisdictions across the United States. The latest of those was issued in May 2022 by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

The content-driven iGaming technology provider has firmly set its sights on becoming one of the leading companies in the market. This was evidenced by the recent financial report, revealing an 18.9% revenue growth to €24.7 million in Q2 of 2023.

Commenting after securing the new license, Lara Falzon, President and Chief Operating Officer at Bragg Gaming Group, said:

“Gibraltar is an important jurisdiction that is home to both UK and international facing companies and this license will enable us to further expand our presence in key regulated markets.

“We have seen significant growth over the last few months, entering new markets and boosting our reach in established ones, and this license is an important milestone as we continue our journey. We’re looking forward to collaborating with new partners and to introduce our content on their online casino platforms.”
