Three Card Poker, also known as Poker Three, Trey Poker, or Tri Card Poker, is a popular game that is based on the classic Draw Poker game. Three Card Poker is played between the house (dealer) and the players. The game is very simple to learn and play.
In Three Card Poker, the players start by placing their Ante bet, which is a mandatory bet. Then, the players and the house each gets dealt three face-down cards. After looking at their cards, the players can either fold or call. If the player calls, he or she must double their Ante bet.
Now, all cards are shown, and each hand is compared to the Dealer’s hand. All hands must contain a pair or higher to be considered a winning hand. If the Dealer doesn’t qualify, all players get paid an even-money bet on their Ante wager. If the Dealer’s hand qualifies and is better than the player’s, the player’s Ante and Play bets will lose, otherwise, the player’s wagers will be paid an even-money bet.
